Asir Municipality continued its efforts to improve infrastructure efficiency and enhance the quality of municipal services through intensive maintenance work on lighting networks and operation of equipment and machinery during the second quarter of 2026, contributing to improving the urban landscape and raising road safety levels.

The municipality stated that during the second quarter of this year, it carried out (16,897) maintenance operations on lighting poles, in addition to maintaining (912) grounding systems, treating (628) cases of visual distortion, performing routine maintenance for (322) lighting cabinets, repairing (788) cases of electrical shorts, and extending (14,869) linear meters of cables and wires, as well as adjusting, relocating, installing, and replacing (177) lighting poles to enhance the efficiency of lighting networks and increase service reliability.

To support operational activities, the municipality deployed (40) pieces of equipment to carry out (11) field missions for treating and cleaning valleys and culverts as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance readiness and improve field response efficiency.
