The body of the Saudi young man who drowned in the Turkish province of Trabzon has arrived in Istanbul, in preparation for completing procedures to transfer it to the Kingdom.

Informed sources said that the body was transferred from Trabzon to Istanbul, and that it will be shipped to the Kingdom today (Thursday) after completing the official procedures in coordination between the Kingdom's embassy in Turkey and the relevant Turkish authorities.

The young man had died by drowning in the Uzungöl area of Trabzon province. The Saudi embassy followed up on the incident since receiving the report, provided necessary support to his family, and monitored all procedures related to transporting the body to the homeland.
