Border Guard in Madinah Introduces Zawil Portal Services

The General Directorate of Border Guard held a workshop for fishermen and marine activity practitioners to introduce the services of the 'Zawil' portal, in collaboration with 'Alam' company in the Madinah region.

The workshop included steps for issuing the necessary permits for sailing, fishing, and marine excursions, and introduction to the electronic services provided by the portal, which contributes to facilitating procedures and enhancing compliance with maritime safety and security requirements.

The workshop is part of the General Directorate of Border Guard's efforts to promote the use of the 'Zawil' portal for fishermen and marine activity practitioners, and to comply with regulations and instructions related to the protection of living aquatic resources in all regions of the Kingdom, and to report any cases of aggression against the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 994 in the rest of the Kingdom. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality without any liability on the reporter.
