The General Directorate of Border Guards concluded, on Saturday, the Marine Safety Awareness Exhibition on proper practices and reducing drowning risks, in Yanbu Governorate.
The exhibition reviewed the Border Guards' instructions and regulations for beachgoers, penalties for swimming in unauthorized locations, safety guidelines to be followed when going to sea, the Border Guards' efforts in search and rescue, and ensuring the safety of marine vessels before sailing.

The General Directorate of Border Guards called on beach and sea goers to comply with instructions and guidelines, and to call numbers (911) in the regions of Makkah, Medina, and the Eastern Province, and (994) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions, to request help in emergency cases.
