Digital Cognitive Ability Test Registration Opens Within Days
The Education and Training Evaluation Commission (National Center for Assessment) announced the start of early registration for the Digital Cognitive Ability Test. This test is intended for university graduates (bachelor's or master's) applying for administrative positions, whether for appointment or for comparison in promotions within the civil service system and the labor system (excluding health and education positions). The test is required by several entities, such as the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Ministry of Justice, and other ministries, authorities, and educational institutions for appointment to grades (sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth).
Registration Dates:
- Registration period: Starts from Monday, 28/1/1448 AH (corresponding to July 13, 2026 AD) until Tuesday, 26/3/1448 AH (corresponding to September 8, 2026 AD).

Content of the Digital Cognitive Ability Test:
- Verbal ability: The ability to understand the meanings of words and use them effectively, and to understand relationships between them and the meanings contained in a sentence, paragraph, or written text.
- Quantitative ability: The ability to process quantitative information.
- Deductive ability: The ability to think logically by applying rules of deductive and inductive reasoning to data, abstract symbolic information, or meaningful information to reach conclusions about them.
- Spatial ability: The ability to adapt visually using images and geometric shapes, and the ability to visualize two-dimensional drawings and shapes as three-dimensional objects.
Digital Cognitive Ability Test
- The applicant is allowed to take the test (7) times within (3) years, and the commission has the right to restrict registration in some periods to those who have not previously registered.
- The validity of the cognitive ability test is (5) years from the date of the result.
- Test fee: (200) riyals.
- Test results appear within 30 days from the end of the test period.
- Entry to the test is verified using one of the following documents: original national ID, original driver's license, original passport with a copy of the family card, or university ID card.
- It is required to wear formal attire when entering the test.
- The duration of the test ranges from 3 to 4 hours.
- Calculators are prohibited from entering the test hall.
- Drafts cannot be used in paper tests.
