Dismissals and Exemptions: Details of Royal Orders in Ministries and Government Agencies in the Kingdom
A series of royal decrees issued by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud include the dismissal of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, the appointment of Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman as minister, and other changes in various government positions.
The royal decree issued under number A/20 dated 26/1/1448 AH stated that it came after reviewing the Basic Law of Governance, the Council of Ministers Law, and relevant royal orders.
The decree indicated that the competent authorities will adopt and implement the decision.
The order came after reviewing the Basic Law of Governance, issued by Royal Order No. (A/90) dated 27/8/1412 AH; after reviewing the Council of Ministers Law, issued by Royal Order No. (A/13) dated 3/3/1414 AH; and after reviewing Royal Order No. (A/62) dated 1/3/1444 AH. We have ordered the following: First: Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Kharif, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, is relieved of his post. Second: His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is appointed Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources in addition to his continued role as Minister of Energy. Third: This our order is to be communicated to the competent authorities for adoption and implementation.

And after reviewing the Council of Ministers Law, issued by Royal Order No. (A/13) dated 3/3/1414 AH.
And after reviewing the Law of Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and Senior Officials, issued by Royal Decree No. (M/10) dated 18/3/1391 AH.
And after reviewing the regulation of the General Authority for Military Industries, issued by Council of Ministers Resolution No. (210) dated 25/4/1440 AH.
And after reviewing Royal Order No. (A/278) dated 15/7/1444 AH.
And after reviewing Royal Order No. (A/20) dated 26/1/1448 AH.
We have ordered the following:
First: His Excellency Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz bin Al-Mohammed Al-Ohali, Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, is relieved of his post.
Second: His Excellency Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Kharif, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers, is assigned to carry out the duties of Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries in addition to his current role.
Third: This our order is to be communicated to the competent authorities for adoption and implementation.

First: His Excellency Mr. Shalaan bin Rajih bin Abdullah bin Shalaan, Deputy Public Prosecutor, is relieved of his post.
Second: This our order is to be communicated to the competent authorities for adoption and implementation.

Second: This our order is to be communicated to the competent authorities for adoption and implementation.

First: His Excellency Mr. Ihsan bin Abbas bin Hamza BaFaqih is appointed as Mayor of Jeddah Governorate with the rank of senior official.
