The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud today issued several royal orders that included changes in leadership positions in a number of government ministries and agencies.

Changes in the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources

The text of the royal orders clarified that Bandar bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Kharif has been relieved of his post as Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been appointed Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources in addition to continuing as Minister of Energy.

The royal order indicated the appointment of Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Kharif as Minister of State and member of the Council of Ministers, and he was also tasked with performing the duties of the Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries in addition to his work.

Changes in the Public Prosecution and the Royal Court

In the same context, Shalaan bin Rajih bin Abdullah bin Shalaan was relieved of his post as Deputy Head of the Public Prosecution, and he was appointed as a consultant in the Royal Court at the excellent rank.

Appointments in Jeddah Municipality and the Ministry of Justice

The royal orders added the appointment of Ihsan bin Abbas bin Hamza Bafaqih as Mayor of Jeddah Governorate at the excellent rank, and the appointment of Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Mutlaq as Deputy Minister of Justice at the excellent rank.

Appointments in the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA)

Meanwhile, the royal order included the appointment of Talal bin Fouad bin Ahmed Al-Hamoud as Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Technical Affairs at the excellent rank, and Abdul Ilah bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Duheem as Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Executive Affairs at the excellent rank.

It is noted that all royal orders stipulated their approval and implementation by the relevant authorities.
