Eastern Province Emir Receives Members of the Special Forces for Road Security
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received at the Emirate Diwan, the Commander of the Special Forces for Road Security in the Eastern Province, Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Obaid, accompanied by members of the Special Forces for Road Security in the region, and reviewed achievement reports and implemented projects, along with future plans aimed at enhancing the safety of road users in the cities and governorates of the region.
The Governor of the Eastern Province praised the security and humanitarian efforts made by the Special Forces for Road Security in carrying out their tasks, which contribute to enhancing security and reassurance on the roads, emphasizing the importance of continuing to develop the road security system, raising its readiness, and benefiting from modern technologies to enhance traffic safety and protect road users. He noted that the Eastern Province achieved first place in traffic safety at the Kingdom level, thanks to the integrated efforts of security agencies, including the Special Forces for Road Security, the General Directorate of Traffic, and the Provincial Police.
Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Obaid expressed his thanks to the Governor of the Eastern Province for his support and follow-up on the work of the Special Forces for Road Security in the region.
