His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received at the Emirate Diwan the commander of the Special Force for Road Security in the Eastern Province, Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Obaid, accompanied by personnel of the Special Force for Road Security in the region. He reviewed performance reports and implemented projects, along with future plans aimed at enhancing the safety of road users in the cities and governorates of the region.

His Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province praised the security and humanitarian efforts exerted by the Special Force for Road Security in carrying out its tasks, which contribute to enhancing security and tranquility on the roads. He stressed the importance of continuing to develop the road security system, raising its readiness, and utilizing modern technologies to enhance traffic safety and protect road users. His Highness also noted that the Eastern Province achieved first place in traffic safety at the kingdom level, thanks to the integrated efforts of security agencies, including the Special Force for Road Security, the General Directorate of Traffic, and the region's police.
