His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, sponsored the closing ceremony of the 'Taste Society in Khobar Governorate' project, organized by the Saudi Society for Public Taste in partnership with the Eastern Province Development Authority.

His Highness stressed that instilling public taste values is a shared responsibility that contributes to improving quality of life, raising community awareness, and building more attractive and sustainable urban environments, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, while enhancing the preservation of public facilities, respect for regulations, and the establishment of positive behaviors.

In his speech at the ceremony, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Society for Public Taste, Mr. Hani bin Hassan Al-Afalq, explained that this conclusion crowns diligent efforts aimed at making Khobar Governorate a role model in adopting a culture of public taste, noting that the project supports the Kingdom's goals of including three Saudi cities among the world's top 100 cities according to global livability indices.

The CEO of the Society and Secretary of the Supreme Committee for the Project, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Mahbub, affirmed that the 'Taste Society' project is based on 12 strategic domains, including: urban landscape and parks, mosques, tourism, education, sports, government services, transportation and driving, and entertainment, in an effort to embed public taste culture in various aspects of daily life.

His Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province honored the signing of several cooperation agreements between the Saudi Society for Public Taste and each of: the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification, the Saudi Railways Company (SAR), and the Consumer Protection Association, with the aim of expanding the spread of public taste culture in various walks of life.
