His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Region and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Darin and Tarout Island Development Foundation, received the Foundation's CEO, Engineer Ahmed bin Salman Al-Badr, at his office in the Emirate Diwan on Tuesday.

His Highness the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Region stressed the importance of continuing work according to approved plans, and enhancing integration and coordination between relevant authorities, to contribute to achieving the Foundation's objectives and implementing qualitative development projects that align with Saudi Vision 2030, enhance quality of life, and preserve the historical and heritage identity of the island.

The CEO presented a comprehensive overview of the Foundation’s key efforts, latest developments, and achievements in implementing its development plans and projects, as well as programs and initiatives aimed at developing Darin and Tarout Island and leveraging its historical, heritage, economic, and tourism potential to establish it as a promising development and tourism destination at the national level.

Al-Badr expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Region for his continuous support and interest, affirming that the Foundation is proceeding with the implementation of its development programs and initiatives.
