Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, received in his office today the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Khaleej Club, Ahmed bin Ali Akhreidah, accompanied by a number of board members and several players, on the occasion of the sporting achievements the club attained during the sports season.

The Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province stressed the importance of continued efforts to develop the sports system in clubs and improve technical and administrative performance, which contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of clubs at various levels and achieving positive results that reflect the extent of development witnessed by the sports sector in the region. He congratulated the club’s staff and players on the achievements made during the sports season.

Presentation of Al-Khaleej Club Achievements

The Chairman of the Board presented a summary of the club’s most prominent achievements during the season, including the first handball team winning the Saudi Premier League, the Saudi Super Cup, the Saudi Federation Cup, and the Elite Cup for seniors, in addition to the club’s various other sports achieving distinguished accomplishments in swimming, athletics (women), and archery, reflecting the diversity of the club’s sporting successes.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Khaleej Club expressed his thanks to the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province for his support and interest, affirming that his follow-up and keenness to support the sports sector and motivate athletes represent a great incentive to continue working and achieve more accomplishments, which contributes to enhancing the region’s standing in the sports arena.
