The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom's strongest condemnation and denunciation of the targeting of several Kuwaiti border posts, a drilling platform belonging to the Kuwait Oil Company, the attacks that targeted the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait in the city of Basra, the targeting of two Emirati oil tankers while crossing the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran's continued threat to the security and stability of the region by targeting Jordan, Bahrain and Qatar.

The Kingdom reiterated its absolute rejection of Iran's violation of the sovereignty of brotherly states, its continued behavior that destabilizes the security and stability of the region, and its violation of the principles of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the rules of good neighborliness.

The Kingdom held Iran responsible for the consequences of its continued brutal attacks, demanding that Iran immediately cease these violations to preserve the security, stability and safety of the region. The Kingdom renews its full solidarity with brotherly states in the measures they take to preserve their sovereignty.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan received a telephone call from Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Dr. Badr Abdel Aty.

During the call, Dr. Badr Abdel Aty expressed Egypt's solidarity and full support for the Kingdom in preserving its security and territorial integrity following the missile attacks launched by the Houthi militias. The call also discussed the latest developments in the region and the efforts being made regarding them.
