The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque operates a system of electronic guide screens at the gates and external courtyards of the Grand Mosque, aimed at enhancing spatial awareness for visitors to the Holy House of Allah, enabling them to identify the status of gates and choose the nearest available entrances, thereby contributing to improved traffic flow and ease of access.

These screens display real-time updated data including the status of gates and available entrances, density indicators in the circumambulation area (Mataf) and the running area (Mas'a), enabling worshippers, Umrah performers, and visitors to choose the most suitable routes before entering, contributing to the distribution of movement across different entrances, reducing access time, and improving crowd management efficiency. The screens also show entrances leading to upper floors to achieve optimal utilization of the facilities' capacity.

In addition to operational data, the screens provide awareness and guidance content including instructions to be followed before entry, awareness of behaviors to avoid inside the Grand Mosque, as well as information on the most prominent services provided to the guests of the Most Merciful, including the service of exiting Ihram, the digital guide (Mutawwif), and the unified number 1966.

These screens are part of the technical and guidance services implemented by the Presidency to benefit from electronic solutions in supporting crowd management, raising operational efficiency, and improving the quality of services provided to the guests of the Most Merciful, thereby providing a smoother and more seamless experience and enhancing the Grand Mosque's readiness to receive its visitors.
