Fahd bin Sultan Attends Celebration by Tabuk Residents on His Return from Medical Trip
The Governor of the Tabuk Region, Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, attended yesterday the celebration held by the region's residents on the occasion of his return from his medical trip, in the presence of Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Abdullah Al Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Tabuk Region, at the Prince Sultan Civilized Center in Tabuk city.
Upon his arrival at the venue, the royal anthem was played, then the ceremony began with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a documentary film that embodied the feelings of joy that spread across the region upon his return from his medical trip.
After that, Dr. Abdullah Enad Al-Ghrairy delivered a speech on behalf of the region's residents, starting by praising God for the health and well-being bestowed upon him, expressing the residents' joy at the return of the region's governor, and the feelings of happiness and delight that filled the entire region.
He said: 'On this day when the region dons its joy, and hearts are adorned before places, we welcome you with all feelings of love and loyalty, and express the residents' delight at your presence among them, you whose name has been associated with long years of giving, work, and achievement.'
He affirmed that the region's governor has always been and remains close to the people before the infrastructure, listening to citizens, following up on their needs, and directing service to them, until the relationship between him and the region's residents became a deep-rooted relationship of love forged by stances and immortalized by sincerity and continuous work, noting the development renaissance and projects that Tabuk region witnessed during his tenure, covering various fields, and the care and attention that the region's people received.
Then the ceremony's segments followed, with a collection of Nabati and classical poems recited that expressed the feelings of love, loyalty, and appreciation that the region's residents hold for him, followed by a musical operetta for the occasion, then the Saudi Ardah (traditional dance) was performed with the participation of the Governor of Tabuk Region, amid a large attendance that filled the stands of the Prince Sultan Civilized Center.
After that, the Governor of Tabuk Region, in a speech directed to the region's residents, expressed his thanks to God for the recovery He granted him, and also extended his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the attention and care he received throughout his treatment. He also thanked the residents of Tabuk region for their sincere feelings, loyalty, and love, affirming the depth of the relationship that binds him with the sons and daughters of the region, and said: 'Before my travel, I told you: I love you. But now, after what I went through and what I saw from you, I don't just love you… I adore you.'
He expressed his appreciation to the organizers of the ceremony, who accomplished this work in an outstanding manner, foremost among them the Deputy Governor of the region Mohammed Al-Haqbani, and the Assistant Deputy for Development Affairs Nasser Al-Khuraisi, and also thanked the artist Mohammed Abdu and the artists participating in the operetta.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Prince Fahd bin Sultan attended the dinner banquet hosted by the region's residents to celebrate his return.
