General / Governor of Northern Borders Region Receives Head and Board Members of 'Tarahum' in the Region
Arar, Muharram 21, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 6, 2026, SPA – His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Northern Borders Region, received in his office today the head of the National Committee for the Care of Prisoners and Released Persons and Their Families (Tarahum) in the Northern Borders Region, Nasser bin Saleh Al-Khulaifi, accompanied by members of the committee's board of directors, on the occasion of the formation of the new board. His Highness listened to an explanation of the new board's objectives, its plans for the upcoming phase, and the programs to be implemented to enhance the committee's role in serving beneficiaries and their families. The Governor of the Northern Borders Region emphasized the importance of the role undertaken by the committee in caring for prisoners, released persons, and their families, noting the support and attention that social work receives from the wise leadership – may God support them – and directed that further efforts be made to enhance initiatives and programs and expand community partnerships, thereby contributing to achieving the committee's objectives and its humanitarian mission. During the meeting, His Highness reviewed the committee's most prominent achievements, programs, and initiatives for the year 2025, the efforts made in caring for prisoners, released persons, and their families, and the enhancement of rehabilitation and empowerment programs, as well as the expansion of partnerships with government agencies and the non-profit sector. For his part, the head of the National Committee for the Care of Prisoners and Released Persons and Their Families (Tarahum) in the Northern Borders Region, Nasser bin Saleh Al-Khulaifi, expressed his thanks to the Governor of the Northern Borders Region for his support and attention, affirming that the new board will work to implement His Highness's directives and continue developing the committee's programs and initiatives, thereby enhancing the services provided to beneficiaries and their families.
