Buraidah, 16 Muharram 1448 AH, corresponding to July 1, 2026, SPA — His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, awarded the new rank to Major General Omar Al-Abdullatif, Director of Traffic of the Region, at his office in the Emirate today, on the occasion of the issuance of the noble royal decree promoting him to the rank of Major General, in the presence of Major General Ali Al-Qahtani, Director of Police of Qassim Region. The Governor of Qassim Region congratulated Major General Al-Abdullatif on this noble royal trust, praying to God Almighty for his success and guidance, and that this promotion would be a motivation to give more in service to the religion, then the King and the homeland, and to contribute to enhancing the traffic safety and security system. His Highness affirmed that the security sector enjoys support and attention from the wise leadership—may God support them—which contributes to developing the security work system, improving performance, and enhancing the security of the homeland and the safety of society.
