His Eminence the Grand Mufti, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, President General for Scientific Research and Ifta, Sheikh Dr. Salih bin Fawzan al-Fawzan, received in his office at the headquarters of the Presidency of Scientific Research and Ifta in Taif Governorate, the President of the University of Taif, Dr. Yusuf bin Abduh Asiri. His Eminence welcomed the university president, commending the role undertaken by the University of Taif in serving university education and scientific research, and its efforts in preparing national competencies. He emphasized the importance of consolidating Islamic values and caring for Sharia sciences alongside various disciplines, contributing to building the individual and serving the homeland. For his part, the President of the University of Taif expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Grand Mufti for the warm reception, presenting some of the university's academic and research achievements. He affirmed the university's keenness to enhance cooperation with scientific and Sharia bodies in a way that serves the educational mission and achieves the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
