The head of religious affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, affirmed that the approach of the Presidency of Religious Affairs and those working in the scientific lessons and the program for answering questioners in the Two Holy Mosques is based on referring in fatwa to what is issued by His Eminence the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, and the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta, and to the fatwas of the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta, and the decisions of the Council of Senior Scholars; as a confirmation of the scientific methodology adopted by the Presidency, and to solidify the unity of the religious reference.

Efforts to Spread Established Knowledge

He explained that the Presidency of Religious Affairs is proceeding in carrying out its scientific and da'wah mission in accordance with the official religious reference of the Kingdom, which enhances the spread of established Islamic knowledge, embodies the approach of moderation and balance, and fulfills the objectives of Sharia in clarifying legal rulings for those visiting the Two Holy Mosques.

He pointed out that adherence to the approved scientific reference is a fundamental pillar in the work of teaching, issuing fatwas, and answering questioners, and enhances the credibility of the scientific message presented by the Presidency, and solidifies the unity of religious discourse, and achieves the highest standards of scientific and religious discipline in serving the guests of the Most Merciful.
