The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Asir region launched the tenth regulatory and awareness campaign to enhance compliance in livestock markets in the region, as part of its ongoing field plan during the current month of July. The campaign covers livestock markets in various governorates of the Asir region, combining field inspection and awareness for sellers and visitors about the regulatory requirements to be followed in livestock sale and display markets. The campaign activities include field tours to verify compliance with health and veterinary requirements, in addition to providing direct guidance to owners and sellers on transport, display, and animal health safety requirements. Engineer Mohammed bin Ali Al Atif, Director General of the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Asir region, confirmed that the campaign is a continuation of the ministry's periodic regulatory efforts in the region, noting the branch's keenness to continuously monitor compliance during the commercial activity seasons in livestock markets.
