Initiative to Prepare Basins at Mecca Environment Office

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture office in Mecca, represented by the Non-Profit Sector and Agricultural Solutions Department, implemented today, Sunday, an initiative aimed at preparing the office's basins and improving their agricultural environment, as part of efforts to enhance environmental sustainability and improve the aesthetic quality within the workplace.

The director of the office, Engineer Ghaleb bin Yahya Hamazi, explained that this initiative comes as an extension of the office's programs to support environmental initiatives, establish a culture of afforestation, and preserve vegetation cover, in line with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's goals of achieving sustainable environmental development. The work included comprehensive preparation of agricultural basins, improving soil quality, in addition to care and maintenance of existing plants, contributing to creating a more attractive work environment and enhancing the civilized appearance of the office's facilities.
