The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Passports, in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, represented by the national unified platform for recruitment "Musaned", has started issuing and renewing residence permits for domestic workers and similar categories for periods starting from (3) months, allowing employers to pay residence fees for each issuance or renewal period on a quarterly basis.

The decision grants employers the possibility of splitting fees for the selected period only when issuing or renewing residence for a period of (3) months or multiples thereof, providing greater flexibility in managing their obligations and meeting the needs of various beneficiary segments.

This approach reflects the continued development of services related to residence permits, enhancing the efficiency of procedures and the quality of services provided, and offering more flexible solutions that suit the needs of employers and domestic workers, within the framework of the digital transformation journey and improving the beneficiary experience.
