Interior Ministry: Jail and Fine for Those Who Delay Departure After Visa Expiry

The Interior Ministry stressed that any expatriate who delays departure after the expiration of their entry visa will be punished with a fine of up to (50,000) riyals, imprisonment for up to (6) months, and deportation.

The ministry called for reporting violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations by calling (911) in the regions of Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) in the rest of the Kingdom.
