King Faisal University announced the opening of admission for 21 specialized professional diploma programs (in-person) offered by the Applied College for the academic year 1448 AH. Applications will be accepted from the 7th to the 15th of Safar 1448 AH, corresponding to July 21 to 29, 2026.

This aims to provide distinctive educational opportunities that contribute to qualifying national competencies with specialized applied skills that meet the needs of the labor market, and enhance opportunities for professional development and the continuation of the academic path.

Educational tracks

The Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Abdullatif, explained that the specialized professional diploma programs are offered in-person with fees, and provide flexible educational paths that enable students to balance study and work commitments. He added that the university has prepared an integrated digital admission system that allows applicants to complete the application, admission and payment procedures electronically through the official platform, inviting those interested to review the program guide and complete the application procedures within the specified period.

Sector needs

The CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Musaab bin Saud Al-Bin Zaid, indicated that the programs cover five main tracks that meet the needs of priority sectors, including Business, Administration and Law; Environment, Sustainability and Natural Resources; Computer and Technology; Media and Digital Communication; and Health. He added that the programs were developed in partnership with labor market entities, and focus on applied skills and the most in-demand specializations, enhancing the alignment of their outputs with the needs of various sectors.

These programs come as an extension of King Faisal University's efforts to develop the applied and vocational education system, offering distinctive programs that respond to the needs of development and the labor market, and contribute to enhancing lifelong learning, and building qualified national competencies with professional and applied skills, supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in human capital development, raising the readiness of national competencies, and enhancing the alignment of education outputs with labor market needs.
