Riyadh, Muharram 22, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 7, 2026, SPA — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center today signed, via videoconference, a joint project with a civil society organization to support farmers and enhance food security in the governorates of Hadramout and the island of Socotra in the Republic of Yemen, under the Badra initiative. The project will directly benefit 990 individuals and indirectly benefit 7,430 individuals. The agreement was signed by the Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs, Engineer Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz. The project aims to provide a decent life and a source of livelihood for 990 families in Hadramout and Socotra by empowering and supporting small livestock breeders, beekeepers, food industry producers, and community members working in fodder cultivation and production, thereby contributing to food security enhancement and improving livelihoods for the benefiting groups. These efforts are part of the humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to boost the economic situation and improve the income of the most needy groups in Yemeni society. // End // 21:35 T M 0206
