The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has signed a new agreement for the recruitment of domestic workers with the Kenyan Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.

Updating the framework of cooperation between the Kingdom and the Republic of Kenya.

The agreement focuses on implementing all necessary measures to ensure the effective recruitment of domestic workers from the Republic of Kenya to work in an organized manner in the Kingdom, protecting the rights of both employers and workers, and regulating the contractual relationship between them. It also aims to update the framework of cooperation between the Kingdom and the Republic of Kenya in the field of domestic worker recruitment.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Riyadh hosted the signing ceremony, in the presence of Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Musalia Mudavadi, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kenya, on the sidelines of the first meeting of the Saudi-Kenyan Political Consultations Committee.

The ministry was represented by the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Labor, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abu Thunain, while the Kenyan ministry was represented by the Minister of Labour and Social Protection, Dr. Alfred Nganaga Mutua.
