Kuwait and Jordan announced on Saturday that they repelled missile and drone attacks from Iran, while Bahrain and Saudi Arabia issued warnings and sounded sirens.

The Kuwaiti army said in 3 statements published since dawn Saturday on its account on the American platform X that air defenses 'repelled hostile missile and drone attacks following the Iranian aggression.'

It added that 'the sounds of explosions that may be heard are the result of air defense systems intercepting the attacks,' calling on everyone to adhere to security and safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities.

In Jordan, a responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces said in a statement that air defense systems repelled 10 Iranian missiles that entered Jordanian airspace and were targeting the kingdom's territory, intercepting and shooting them down.

The source stated that 'the interception operations were carried out in accordance with operational procedures and defensive measures in place, to preserve the kingdom's sovereignty, the security of its airspace, and the safety of citizens,' noting that they resulted in no human injuries or material damage.

He added that Royal Engineering Corps teams began dealing with and securing the sites of falling shrapnel, while the armed forces continue to monitor the airspace with the highest readiness.

In Bahrain, the Ministry of Interior issued 4 announcements since dawn Saturday calling on citizens and residents to remain calm and go to the nearest safe place after sirens were sounded, without further details.

The Saudi Civil Defense also announced via posts on platform X that alerts were issued from the National Platform for Early Warning of Emergencies in the governorates of Yanbu and Al-Kharj to warn of danger, without providing further details on the nature of the threat.
