Lebanese Information Minister Paul Morcos affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia played a pivotal role in restoring relations between Lebanon and Syria, praising Saudi efforts in supporting regional stability.

Morcos also pointed out that Lebanon is preparing to resume direct flights with the United States of America, a step that reflects the notable improvement in bilateral relations between the two countries.

In the same context, the minister explained that Washington supports military training programs in Lebanon and affirmed its full confidence in the Lebanese army as the main guarantor of security and stability on Lebanese territory.

Morcos added that the Lebanese authority enjoys the confidence of US President Donald Trump, stressing that this confidence constitutes a fundamental pillar in the path of strengthening Lebanese-American relations in the upcoming phase.
