Literature Association Revives Cultural Meeting in Al-Namas Hosting Former Education Director
The Professional Literature Association, through its ambassadors in Al-Namas, in cooperation with the municipality of the governorate, organized a cultural dialogue meeting hosted by Dr. Dhafir bin Habib Al-Amri, former Director of Education, with the dialogue moderated by Saad Othman Al-Amri.
During the meeting, the guest reviewed milestones of his life and educational career, starting from his studies at the Scientific Institute, noting his early distinction among his peers and the appreciation of his teachers, and he praised several of his teachers at various educational stages, both Saudis and Arabs.
Al-Amri touched on the struggles in his career, including walking from Bani Amr center to Al-Namas to reach school, then reviewed his successive administrative stages from administrative to educational work, culminating in his assumption of the Directorate of Education in Al-Namas Governorate in 1417 AH.
The guest revealed the most prominent challenges he faced, foremost among them reducing the number of rented buildings in favor of government buildings, and opening schools in villages with low student density. He also spoke about his management philosophy based on containment and delegation of powers to department heads while monitoring and holding accountable when there is negligence.
Al-Amri pointed out a notable achievement by the staff of Al-Namas Education, as they ranked first in the Kingdom in enrolling in training and completing postgraduate studies, despite the limited numbers and small geographical area.
The meeting witnessed a notable attendance that contributed with rich interventions, and the attendees expressed thanks to the godfather of the meeting, Dhafir Al-Jubairi, head of the Al-Namas Ambassadors, representing the Literature Association. Attending from the association members were Abdulhadi Saleh, and from its ambassadors Dr. Abdullah Al-Qarni and Abdullah Shaher.
The meeting concluded with the presentation of certificates of thanks and appreciation to the guest and organizers, and Ali bin Mohammed Al-Asbali participated in the honoring.
