His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, conveyed the condolences and sympathy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God preserve them - to the Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on the death of his father, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, may God have mercy on him.

This came during the Emir of Qatar and his deputy, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, as well as the sons of the deceased and members of the Al Thani family, receiving Prince Mansour bin Miteb and his accompanying delegation at Lusail Palace in the capital Doha.

The Saudi delegation included His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province; His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; and His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Prince Mansour bin Miteb and the princes supplicated to God Almighty to envelop the deceased in His vast mercy, forgiveness, and acceptance, and to grant him a spacious place in Paradise.

The reception ceremony was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Saad bin Mansour bin Saad, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the State of Qatar.
