Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Palms and Dates, launched the "With Dates, More Blessed" campaign at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh, aiming to enhance the use of dates in daily food dishes and beverages, and highlight them as a natural sweetener and a healthy food option that reflects Saudi culture and identity.

The National Center for Palms and Dates explained that the campaign targets raising awareness of the nutritional value of dates and enhancing their presence in daily lifestyle through multiple paths targeting various segments of society, and contributes to expanding the use of Saudi dates in food dishes and daily consumption.

The campaign includes several main axes, most notably: involving restaurants, cafes, and bakeries in innovating dishes and beverages sweetened with dates, launching an interactive digital booklet containing more than 200 local recipes based on dates, as well as creating specialized digital platforms that highlight date products and enhance their spread among youth and various segments of society.

The campaign comes within the efforts of the National Center for Palms and Dates to enhance the added value of Saudi dates and support their position in local and global markets, in light of qualitative achievements witnessed by the sector; as the volume of date production in the Kingdom during the year 2025 exceeded 1.9 million tons, while the Kingdom hosts more than 37 million palm trees, enhancing its position as one of the leading countries in date production and export globally.
