The Ministry of Interior emphasized that any expatriate who delays departure after the expiry of their entry visa will be punished with a fine of up to 50,000 riyals, imprisonment for up to six months, and deportation. The ministry also called for reporting violators of residence, labor, and border security regulations by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
