Ministry of Interior: Expat who delays departure after expiry of granted entry visa will be punished with a fine of up to 50,000 riyals, imprisonment, and deportation
The Ministry of Interior warned expats against delaying departure from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after the expiry of their granted entry visas, noting that violators face strict penalties including a fine of up to 50,000 riyals, imprisonment for up to 6 months, in addition to immediate deportation from the country.
The ministry also called on citizens and residents to report violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in other regions of the kingdom.
