Ministry of Labour organizes workshop on role of private sector as strategic partner in implementing job localisation plan

Doha, June 28 /QNA/ The Ministry of Labour organized today an introductory workshop on the role of the private sector as a strategic partner in implementing the job localisation plan, attended by a number of human resources managers from security companies and factories, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of effective partnership in supporting localisation programmes and increasing the participation rate of the national workforce in private sector institutions.

This workshop is part of a series of consultative workshops launched by the Ministry of Labour within its strategy to enhance partnerships, cooperation and exchange of ideas with the private sector, and discuss best practices for attracting the national workforce, as well as ways to overcome challenges facing the parties involved in the localisation plan and enable them to increase the participation rate of citizens in the labour market.

During the workshop, effective partnership between the Ministry of Labour and private sector institutions was discussed, as well as how to attract national cadres to private sector companies in the security field.
