The Museums Commission and the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London, a world-leading institution in arts, humanities, and social sciences, announced the launch of a joint Master of Arts in Museum Studies program, to be offered from the academic year 2026-2027 at two prominent Saudi universities, in a step aimed at training specialized national cadres to support the growth of the museum sector in the Kingdom. The program extends the existing academic partnership between the college and both Effat University and Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in postgraduate programs, with the introduction of a new direct admission track to the Master of Arts in Museum Studies at the two universities.
