The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification has offered 11 investment opportunities in several national parks in the Medina region, as part of enhancing partnership with the private sector, supporting natural destination tourism, and contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals and Saudi Vision 2030.

The center explained that these opportunities aim to empower the private sector and expand its participation in implementing development projects with sustainable environmental and economic impact, achieving a balance between economic development and conservation of natural resources, enhancing quality of life, and contributing to added value for local communities and supporting the national economy.

The offered investment opportunities include a variety of activities, most notably: camping, ecotourism, and paragliding, contributing to the development of national parks and consolidating their status as attractive natural destinations for visitors from within the Kingdom and abroad.

The center pointed out that it is working on offering long-term investment opportunities alongside seasonal opportunities, with the aim of developing vegetation cover, supporting afforestation projects, and conserving natural resources, in addition to providing new job opportunities for citizens, in line with the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative and Vision 2030.
