The Passports Directorate clarified via its official account on the 'X' platform that issuing a travel permit begins by logging into the guardian's account on the 'Absher' platform, then selecting 'Family Member Services,' followed by accessing 'Services,' then choosing 'Travel Permits for Family Members,' and completing the service requirements until the permit is issued.

The Directorate confirmed that the service includes family members under the age of 21, and the beneficiary must have a valid national ID or passport.

It pointed out that travel permits issued using the national ID are limited to travel to Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and the permit is fully electronic and does not require printing.
