Political / Bahrain Condemns Statements of Houthi Militia's Military Spokesperson against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Manama, 07 Safar 1448 AH corresponding to 21 July 2026 AD - SPA: The Kingdom of Bahrain condemned the terrorist threats issued by the so-called military spokesperson of the terrorist Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including unsubstantiated claims, incitement, and irresponsible escalation, which undermine the security and stability of the region and pose a serious threat to maritime navigation, international trade, and innocent civilians, in flagrant violation of international law, the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, and relevant Security Council resolutions. The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's firm stance of full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stating that Saudi Arabia's security is an integral part of Bahrain's security, and its full support for all legitimate measures taken by Saudi Arabia to maintain its sovereignty, security, stability, and territorial integrity. It stressed the need for concerted international efforts to protect the safety of maritime navigation in the Red Sea, the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, and all vital waterways, preserving the security of energy supplies and global trade. It reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain's appreciation for the diplomatic, humanitarian, and developmental efforts led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aimed at reaching a comprehensive and lasting political solution to the Yemeni crisis, in accordance with the Gulf Initiative and its executive mechanism, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference, and relevant Security Council resolutions, chief among them Security Council Resolution 2216, preserving Yemen's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and fulfilling the aspirations of its brotherly people for security, stability, and sustainable prosperity. // End // 16:44 T M 0165
