Public Prosecutor and Chairman of the Public Prosecution Council, Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Yousef, received Minister of Media, Mr. Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, at the headquarters of the Public Prosecution to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two entities and develop the existing partnership in relevant fields.

The meeting discussed a number of topics of common interest, foremost of which was developing legal media discourse, enhancing coordination in dealing with media issues to contribute to safeguarding rights and compliance with regulations, as well as exchanging expertise in digital fields and media content creation aimed at raising awareness and curbing the spread of misinformation.

The Minister of Media praised the roles undertaken by the Public Prosecution in protecting rights, enhancing justice, and safeguarding the public interest, affirming that the media system represents a supporting partner for judicial efforts by highlighting its messages and initiatives with professional content that contributes to raising legal awareness in society.

For his part, the Public Prosecutor commended the efforts of the Ministry of Media in developing media discourse and enhancing its professional and digital presence, noting that this role supports the delivery of reliable legal information and strengthens the culture of compliance with regulations.

This meeting comes within the framework of institutional coordination between the Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Media, contributing to supporting awareness messages and enhancing the presence of reliable legal information in the media space.
