Saudi businessman Prince Alwaleed bin Talal shared video clips documenting the construction progress of the Jeddah Tower project, which is set to top global skyscrapers, surpassing Burj Khalifa.

These developments come as part of efforts to advance major development and urban projects in the region's major cities to enhance infrastructure.

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal posted the video on his X (formerly Twitter) account with the comment: 'I met the Jeddah Tower work teams and saw the progress firsthand. We have reached a height of 430 meters out of 1000+ meters. Thank God, work continues, and we will complete the tallest tower in the world.'

Upon completion, the tower's architectural design will extend to one thousand meters, surpassing the total height of Burj Khalifa in the UAE by 72 meters.

This architectural landmark is the main core of the Jeddah Economic City, which spans 57 million square feet and combines residential, commercial, hotel, office, and entertainment components.

It is noted that Jeddah Tower's elevators will also reach a record height of 660 meters, while double-decker elevators will transport visitors directly to the observation deck in just 66.5 seconds.

The Jeddah Tower project represents a cornerstone of ambitious urban development plans aimed at attracting global investments and developing the tourism and business sectors. Engineering and economic circles await the completion of this landmark, which relies on advanced construction technologies and ultra-fast elevator systems.
