Saudi Energy Company announced the restoration of electricity service to all customers in the city of Turbah in Baq'a Governorate, Ha'il Region, following repeated outages and fluctuations in the power supply over the past weeks.
In a statement issued in response to a report published by Sabq newspaper on July 6, 2026, titled "Residents of Turbah, Ha'il suffer electricity fluctuations for 4 weeks and complaints closed without resolution," the company explained that its specialized technical teams immediately began field work on the evening of Monday, July 6, and found that the cause of the disruption was a fault in one of the components of the overhead grid feeding the area, which was addressed according to approved operational procedures.
The company revealed that it is currently working on implementing long-term solutions to address the causes of service disruptions and enhance grid reliability in the governorate, including installing grid enhancers to support current operational capacities, in addition to completing the operation of approved projects for the area in the coming period, which will help meet energy needs and improve grid stability.
Regarding customer reports, Saudi Energy confirmed that it continues to receive and follow up on them through its digital channels, noting its commitment to automatically compensate cases that meet the compensation criteria in the "Guaranteed Standards" guide issued by the Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority, without the need to file a claim.
The company invited its customers to use the "Saudi Energy" application to report faults, track reports, and access available electronic services.
