The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen confirmed its continued efforts to support the water sector in various Yemeni governorates, by implementing 61 development projects in 14 governorates, aiming to enhance water security and improve the efficiency of water services.

The Program explained that its projects in the water sector focus on achieving sustainability in water resource management, through improving resource management, providing freshwater sources, and raising the efficiency of water distribution networks, thereby contributing to improving the level of services provided to citizens.

The Program indicated that these projects come within its efforts to support sustainable development in Yemen and enhance the infrastructure of the water sector, which reflects on improving the quality of life and meeting the basic needs of the population, in addition to contributing to enhancing water security in various beneficiary areas.
