Shura Council Holds Its 45th Regular Session of the Second Year of the Ninth Term

The Shura Council held today its 45th regular session of the second year of the ninth term (via videoconference), chaired by His Excellency the Deputy Speaker of the Council, Dr. Mishal bin Fahm Al-Sulami.

At the outset of the session, the Council reviewed the agenda of its 45th regular session and the items included therein, taking the necessary decisions regarding them.

The Council voted to approve a draft memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of mineral resources.

The Council also approved a draft memorandum of understanding between the Authority for the Development of Research, Development and Innovation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of the Republic of Turkey in the field of research, development and innovation.

Among the topics on the agenda of this session, the Council approved a draft memorandum of understanding between the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Muslim World League for cooperation in the field of serving the Arabic language.

The Council also approved a draft headquarters agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
