Buraidah, 29 Muharram 1448 AH, corresponding to July 14, 2026, SPA – His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Qassim Endowment Fund, chaired the eighth meeting of the Board of Trustees at his office today, in the presence of board members, to follow up on the fund's operations and review developments in its work and future plans. His Highness began the meeting with a speech in which he emphasized the importance of strengthening endowment work as one of the sustainable development streams, and its role in supporting community initiatives and contributing to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. He stressed the importance of developing the institutional work system of the fund to enhance its efficiency, sustainability, and developmental impact. The board reviewed the implementation of recommendations from the previous meeting and the progress made regarding the establishment of the Qassim Growth Association and the completion of its regulatory requirements. They also discussed leveraging specialized expertise and competencies to support its activities. The Governor of Qassim Region affirmed that endowments represent a fundamental pillar in supporting sustainable development, and that developing endowment work requires integration of efforts and improving governance and management efficiency to achieve a sustainable developmental impact that serves the region and enhances the contribution of the endowment sector to national development.
