Sports / Al-Qassim Municipality Completes King Abdulaziz Road Walkway within Urban Landscape Improvement Projects in Al-Fawwarah Center

Buraidah, Muharram 23, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 8, 2026 AD, SPA – Al-Qassim Region Municipality has completed the King Abdulaziz Road Walkway project in Al-Fawwarah Center, as part of its projects aimed at improving the urban landscape, enhancing quality of life, and providing integrated public facilities that encourage community members to engage in sports and recreational activities, while creating an attractive urban environment that meets the needs of residents and visitors.

The King Abdulaziz Road Walkway extends 920 meters in length and includes green spaces exceeding 3,500 square meters, alongside the planting of more than 950 trees, contributing to vegetation cover enhancement and visual improvement. The project includes the construction of 40 parking spaces, installation of 52 decorative lighting poles, and implementation of screens inspired by Al-Fawwarah's identity, covering a total area of 1,750 square meters, in addition to a children's play area spanning approximately 680 square meters, providing an integrated environment that combines sports, recreational, and aesthetic aspects.

The project represents a qualitative addition to municipal facilities in Al-Fawwarah Center and reflects the continued efforts of Al-Qassim Region Municipality and its affiliated municipalities in implementing developmental projects that contribute to improving quality of life, enhancing humanization, and raising the level of services provided to residents, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. // End // 11:46 AM 0075
