The sports walking paths in Najran have witnessed an increasing turnout from residents and visitors of all ages, as they have become a recreational outlet and a favorite destination during the summer vacation period, contributing to enhancing the quality of life, spreading the culture of walking, and improving mood, in addition to their health benefits for the human body. The Municipality of the region has prepared (44) sports walking paths in gardens and parks in the city of Najran and the governorates, equipped with fitness devices, bicycle tracks, along with modern lighting, seating benches, landscaping, and public facilities, as part of its efforts to improve the urban landscape and promote healthy lifestyles, in line with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030. The King Fahd Park walkway, which is (2660) meters long and (10) meters wide, is one of the most prominent walking paths that attract residents and visitors, due to its dense surrounding trees and green spaces, which have contributed to lowering temperatures, attracting park-goers and visitors to practice walking and enjoy the moderate atmosphere in the park. The park, with its integrated sports activities, has become a daily destination for sports and leisure enthusiasts. Similarly, the Prince Jalawi Park walkway is also one of the distinctive walking paths that attract park-goers due to its large areas, multiple facilities, dense afforestation, and increased green spaces that contribute to giving more vitality and physical activity. Other notable sports walking paths include the Al-Fahd neighborhood sports complex walkway, the Aramco walkway, the King Saud Road walkway, and other integrated walking paths. (SPA) observed the turnout from all age groups on the sports walking paths, which enhances community awareness of the importance of practicing walking and other sports in general, and consolidates the culture of physical activity.
