Establishment of 19 New Civil Associations in the Northern Borders

During the first half of 2026 to support the non-profit sector

The Civil Associations Council in the Northern Borders Region announced the establishment of 19 non-profit civil associations in the region during the first half of 2026, as part of supporting the growth of the non-profit sector and enabling it to contribute to community development and achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The council explained that the new associations will contribute to their development mission and serve the community in various fields, stressing continued support through guidance, consultations, capacity building, and exchange of experiences and successful practices; to enhance their readiness and enable them to achieve sustainability and institutional excellence, based on its role in developing the non-profit sector in the region and maximizing its developmental impact. The council indicated that the associations established this year include: Vision Generation for Child Development, Emad for Mosque Care, Northern Health Affluents, Ni'mati, Azm for People with Disabilities, Manara for Mosques in Tal'at al-Timayat, Nawat al-Khair, Environmental Horizon, Basma for Entertainment, Environmental Development, Sa'a for Preserving Blessings, Sakan al-Khair, Tarakum for Diabetes Prevention, Volunteer Ambassadors, Noor Cultural for Girls, Nasaq for Empowering and Developing Non-Profit Organizations, Biksal, Rehabilitation for the Labor Market, and Kiswa Ra'oom for Clothing Recycling.

It is mentioned that the number of non-profit civil associations in the Northern Borders Region reaches 145 associations distributed across the cities and governorates of the region. The establishment of these associations comes within efforts to strengthen the civil work system in the Northern Borders Region and expand the scope of development initiatives, supporting community participation and raising the contribution of the non-profit sector to sustainable development.
