The General Directorate of Traffic announced the launch of the electronic auction for premium license plates via the “Absher” platform, starting from today, Wednesday, 8 Safar 1448 AH corresponding to July 22, 2026, and continuing until Thursday, 9 Safar 1448 AH corresponding to July 23, 2026.

The Directorate clarified that participation in the auction is done electronically by logging into the “Absher” platform, then selecting “Services” from the “My Services” tab, followed by “Traffic”, and then entering the “Electronic License Plate Auction” service to view the available plates and place bids.

The launch of the auction is part of the General Directorate of Traffic's efforts to develop digital services and facilitate procedures for obtaining traffic services, enhancing the user experience and providing flexible electronic solutions that keep pace with the goals of digital transformation.
