The General Directorate of Traffic in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that 2,135 violating vehicles were caught during a field campaign targeting vehicles parked in spaces designated for people with disabilities across various regions of the Kingdom.

Saudi Traffic explained, via its official account on X platform, that this campaign is part of the ongoing field efforts carried out by traffic departments in all regions of the Kingdom, aiming to monitor and catch violating vehicles, especially those parking in spaces designated for people with disabilities.

The directorate emphasized that monitoring campaigns are ongoing to ensure compliance with traffic regulations and to preserve the rights of people with disabilities to use the spaces allocated to them, thereby contributing to enhancing traffic discipline and respect for regulations.

It called on all vehicle drivers to cooperate and comply with the rules of the traffic system, and not to park in spaces designated for people with disabilities except for those entitled to use them, in order to avoid accountability and legal penalties.
