The General Directorate of Traffic in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the seizure of 2,135 violating vehicles during a field campaign targeting vehicles parked in spaces designated for people with disabilities in various regions of the Kingdom.

The Saudi Traffic Department explained via its official account on the X platform that this campaign is part of the ongoing field efforts carried out by traffic departments in all regions of the Kingdom, aimed at monitoring and apprehending violating vehicles, foremost among which are vehicles parked in spaces designated for people with disabilities.

The directorate confirmed that supervisory campaigns are ongoing to ensure compliance with traffic regulations and to preserve the rights of people with disabilities to use the spaces designated for them, thereby contributing to enhancing traffic discipline and respect for the rules.

It called on all vehicle drivers to cooperate and comply with the rules set forth in the traffic system, and to refrain from parking in spaces designated for people with disabilities except for those entitled to use them, to avoid accountability and legal penalties.
